In spring 2016, & Other Stories will launch a capsule collection of jewelry created by FAUX\/real, a New York-based brand founded in 2010 by Mari Ouchi and Louis DeCicco. Well known for their passion for jewelry and the stories it tells, the designers question “how to find love” with this capsule collection. <\/p>\n

For this jewelry capsule collection, Mari Ouchi and Louis DeCicco were inspired by the theme of “how to find love”. They wondered why some people find exactly what they’re looking for, while others actively search in vain. They pondered the question and put it to those around them, generating many suggestions but no definitive answers. <\/p>\n
“With this collection, FAUX\/real describes a modern way of looking for love through jewelry that attracts and seduces. The unique pieces bear names such as “Yes yes yes” and “2 become 1″, which participate in the construction of this narrative. First of all, you have to love yourself, then ask yourself what kind of love you’re really looking for”, explain Mari Ouchi and Louis DeCicco. <\/p>\n
Feminine and elegant, the collection features necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. Contrasts play an important role, emphasized by the combination of matte and shiny finishes, stone and acrylic, soft shapes and hard materials, reflecting their vision of women as multi-dimensional beings. <\/p>\n
