\nThe 5th edition of the world’s most elegant motor show welcomed 18,000 visitors on Sunday June 30. The event kicked off on Saturday with the supercar rally, which transformed the Morte Fontaine circuit into a playground for the world’s most exceptional cars, including those from McLaren. Slaloms, braking and speed rings, the participants were able to enjoy these racing cars. Among them, ski champion Alexis Pinturault made no secret of his pleasure at perfecting his trajectories and experiencing the thrill of driving a 720s Spider. The collectors’ rally was rounded off by lunch at the Palais de Compi\u00e8gne with Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake, giving the public a chance to admire extremely rare cars such as the McLaren P1 GTR and 720s, Ferrari LaFerrari, Enzo and 288 GTO, Porsche 918 and 917 and Mercedes SLR.Just before the traditional gala dinner at the Grandes \u00c9curies de Chantilly, an 18th-century architectural masterpiece, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl treated the evening’s 500 guests to a sublime dressage demonstration. They were treated to exceptional dishes concocted by three chefs, while Australian actress Margot Robbie showed particular appreciation for this French art de vivre. Throughout the evening, riders and waiters orchestrated this ephemeral star-studded restaurant. On Sunday at 9 a.m., the Concours d’Elegance opened this year’s event. On the Le N\u00f4tre lawns, visitors were able to discover the finest automotive masterpieces, as well as a wide range of events including boat rides on the Grand Canal, a funfair, old-fashioned games… and the unique exhibition of the nude Mona Lisa at the Mus\u00e9e Cond\u00e9. It was also possible to take part in the prestigious Bonhams auction. The day was also punctuated by important anniversaries: the centenary of Bentley and Ballot, 110 years of Bugatti, 50 years of the iconic Porsche 917, 20 years of Pagani’s Zonda and 50 years of Jackie Stewart’s Formula 1 title with Matra. For the first time, Scott Dixon and Simon Pagenaud, both IndyCar champions and winners of the Indianapolis 500 in 2008 and 2019 respectively, discovered the scope of this competition bringing together 16 car manufacturers, 40 clubs and 710 of the finest historic cars. Each of the concept cars competing in the Concours d’Elegance was associated with a fashion designer:Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Continuation and Ronald Van der Kemp, BMW Vision M Next and TalbotRunhof, Bugatti’s “Black Car” and Max Mara, DS X E-Tense and Eymeric Fran\u00e7ois, Honda EPrototype and Yohji Yamamoto, Lexus Concept LC Cabriolet and Rochas, McLaren Speedtail and Paule Ka,Renault EZ-Ultimo and Guy Laroche, and Volkswagen ID. At the heart of the Richard Mille space, the prospective of the future contrasted with the Renaissance spirit of the event. Located not far from the Airbus Corporate Jets and McLaren areas, guests found themselves in a neo-futuristic setting featuring the most famous car in cinema history, the DeLorean from Back to the Future. <\/p>\n\n\t\t
