<\/p>\nFOR SUMMER, PIERRE HERME REINTERPRETS KAKIGORI<\/p>\n
For summer 2018, Pierre Herm\u00e9 is taking inspiration from kakigori, a traditional Japanese ice cream he discovered over 20 years ago in Japan, to offer an original and refreshing dessert, to be found exclusively at the Bar Long du Royal Monceau.<\/p>\n
The idea came to him four years ago, but Pierre Herm\u00e9 took the time to mature the project and work around his architecture of taste in order to rediscover the gourmandise of an ice cream sundae while remaining faithful to the fundamentals of kakigori.<\/p>\n

This cup, as elegant as it is surprising, completes a wellness break in an explosion of flavors and colors. A steamy, almost cottony dome of shaved ice, flavored with syrup and sprinkled with fresh fruit, offers all the indulgence of a dessert that’s as light on the palate as it is on calories. Under the dome, a sorbet and a few fresh fruits are delicately crushed to sublimate the
\ntasting experience. <\/p>\n
Pierre Herm\u00e9’s Kakigoris, created in a minute on the terrace of the Royal Monceau, are a visual and gustatory spectacle to be discovered now in five flavours:<\/p>\n
