“For my Fall 2017 collection, I was inspired by the sand formations in Valley of Fire Park. The grooves and windswept designs create beautiful layers that helped inspire this collection’s powerful silhouettes and strong, expressive shapes. The deep valley of clay color translated into a rich palette of golden colors with vague textures and luxe velvets. For the outerwear, I also found inspiration in the lines and layers of minimalist sculptor Richard Serra and his permanent exhibition “The Hedgehog and the Fox,” on display at Princeton University. The collection is elegant and bold, modern for our customer. “
