Located in Lorgues, Ch\u00e2teau de Berne is at the heart of the C\u00f4tes de Provence appellation. Its 135-hectare vineyard is ideally situated for producing wines of character. Thanks to a range of exceptional grape varieties, Ch\u00e2teau de Berne produces ros\u00e9, red and white wines. <\/h5>\n
Ch\u00e2teau de Berne Ros\u00e9 2016 is a blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Rolle, 5% Cinsault and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvesting took place at night from September 16 to October 7. The vineyards benefited from the rains at the beginning of September, which kick-started the ripening process that had been partially blocked by the hot summer’s hydric stress.
\nAfter total destemming, the grapes undergo short maceration, partial settling on lees, low-temperature settling and fermentation at 16\u00b0c. <\/h5>\n
Ch\u00e2teau de Berne Ros\u00e9 2016 has a very light pink color, with a brilliant salmon hue. The nose is very expressive, lively and intense, with aromas of peach, citrus, wood and herbs. On the palate, the attack is frank and round. The finish is round, floral and very long.
\nCh\u00e2teau de Berne Ros\u00e9 2016 is a powerful, complex wine with fruity aromas. It makes a harmonious pairing with grilled red mullet, vegetable tian \u00e0 la ni\u00e7oise, octopus and prickly artichoke salad with basil, or fresh pasta with pesto alla genovese. It is served at top restaurants such as Le Negresco in Nice, Georges Blanc in Paris and the Elys\u00e9e Palace. <\/h5>\n
