The candlelight evenings <\/strong>at the Ch\u00e2teau de Vaux-le-Vicomte<\/strong> have officially begun. They will take place every Saturday until October 1, 2016, in the heart of this 17th century monument.<\/p>\n

An evening of candlelight<\/strong><\/p>\n

This season again, the two thousand candles are lit in the large halls and gardens of the castle, for enchanting summer Saturday evenings. A unique experience that is part of a tradition, that of Vaux-le-Vicomte, one of the first castles to offer visitors intimate, romantic and magical evenings by candlelight.<\/p>\n

Great novelty: the shows<\/strong><\/p>\n

While enjoying macaroons and a glass of champagne, attend two shows by the company Quidams<\/strong>: Bilboquets<\/em> and FierS \u00e0 cheval<\/em>. In perfect harmony with the luminous universe of the domain, the actors transport us in a stroll where sounds and lights merge. “We think of our creations as an invitation to dream, to give free rein to one’s imagination”, explains the director Jean-Baptiste Duperray. A pleasure for the eyes, but also for the taste, with refined menus concocted by the restaurants Les Charmilles <\/em>and Relais de l’Ecureu<\/em>.<\/p>\n
