A fashion show that dresses up daydreams and country walks…<\/h4>\n

The Bonpoint brand, which dresses children with bohemian bourgeoisie<\/strong>, presented its spring-summer 2017<\/strong> collection last Wednesday in the garden of the H\u00f4tel de Brancas.<\/p>\n

It’s a place of childlike innocence<\/strong>, bursting with sunshine<\/strong>, inspiration and enthusiasm<\/strong>. Time seems to have stood still, and joy has taken hold of this bucolic<\/strong> garden. The leaves of the white jasmine blossom sway, curl and twirl in the gentle summer breeze. The children’s laughter<\/strong> carries the viewer into a bubble of daydreams and romantic strolls<\/strong>… <\/p>\n

Designer Christine Innamorato drew inspiration from several themes evoking the aesthetic universe<\/strong> of various artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These include the offbeat world of Wes Anderson<\/strong> and his film Moonrise Kingdom, thebucolic world of<\/strong> Jane Campion’sBright Star<\/strong>, Gauguin’<\/strong>s “Tropics\/Elsewhere” period, Robert Doisneau’s stunning Palm Springs photos<\/strong>, Massimo Vitali’s colorful images of beach and crowds<\/strong>, and finally, the sweet, gourmand color of candy pink.<\/p>\n

Moonrise Kingdom transforms child models into future students of elite Anglo-Saxon universities. Sixties and preppy<\/strong>, the grass-green, sky-blue and cherry colors dare polka-dot, stripe, cherry and shamrock prints. Transparent trench coats, faded or waxed jeans, these outfits mimic the campus of the Sixties<\/strong>. An outfit for a child’s adventure… <\/p>\n

Bright Star sublimates Sunday<\/strong> outfits in the countryside<\/strong>. Poetry, romanticism and country elegance are unleashed in looks ofcheeky impertinence. <\/strong>Light, precious materials make their appearance: crepes, plumetis veils, cotton tulles, prints on linen gauze. Milk white, tea pink, orange, grayish blue and inky blue are admired on lace dresses, striped canvas jackets and pants. <\/p>\n

The girls donned embroidered dresses and petticoats, marquise<\/strong> shorts, reinterpreted and modernized. Outfits paying homage to Gauguin’s period vibrate to the rhythm of color with harmony and naivet\u00e9<\/strong>. Textiles are illuminated by deep poppy reds, lemon yellows, emerald greens and floral prints. <\/p>\n

Palm trees and the exoticism<\/strong> of Palm Springs can be seen in trapeze dresses with collars and dresses in embroidered silk organza. Children love to laugh, and wear outfits that prove their love for life: acid yellow, chick yellow, white, faux black, blush pink… <\/p>\n

It’s time for a summer vacation by the sea <\/strong>: white, gold and sand for your little ones on vacation.<\/p>\n

What about pink? Has the girls’ favorite color been forgotten? Of course not! Candy and gourmand pink<\/strong> is in all its glory, promising tenderness and happiness for 50 shades of pink and an even more girly universe. <\/p>\n
