Winner of two World Cups, two Copa Americas and three times FIFA Footballer of the Year, Ronaldo was looking for a new challenge. He found it in poker, and is now the ambassador of PokerStars, the world’s biggest poker site.
\nWe had the great privilege of meeting him when he came to Paris.

\nHere are a few confessions:
\nAccording to Ronaldo, there are a lot of similarities between soccer and poker, especially in terms of strategy and mindset. In poker, he loves to play aggressively.
\nRonaldo confesses that Brazil have no choice but to win this World Cup! But France remain one of the favourites.
\nPSG have the makings of a champion, but not of a Champions League winner
\nFor him, poker remains above all a passion and a friendly game
\nRonaldo has a lot of respect for Zinedine Zidane, whom he sees coaching the greatest international teams. <\/p>\n

Elky was there and gave us some insight into his style of play:
\nWhen Elky played with Ronaldo, he found him rather reserved, impressed to be playing with poker stars, whereas poker players were much more impressed than he was.
\nSportsmen are generally good poker players because they are competitive and strategic.<\/p>\n

The soccer legend will be the godfather of La Maison du Bluff, the reality show where poker is the name of the game.
