July 8, 2015 4:30pm. Sophie leaves her agency earlier than expected. The traffic jams are endless. She eventually finds her loft and contacts her sidekick Laura. <\/p>\n

“Choupette, I just got home. Are you coming over? <\/p>\n

– You read my mind! See you soon! “<\/p>\n

Exhausted by the summer heat, Sophie falls asleep on her balcony. When she opens her eyes, she’s faced with a dazzling panorama. Mountains of ice, snow as far as the eye can see and a castle accessible by a glass staircase. She wonders where she is. Sophie sits on a seat made of ice and wants to unravel the mystery. She pulls herself up onto her legs. But the exercise proves perilous. Dressed in a sumptuous ocean-blue ball gown with a stalactite bustier, Sophie calls for help. Little creatures in the shape of snowmen come running to help her up. <\/p>\n

“Are you awake yet, my queen? Hurry, hurry! Hurry up, you have to get changed! The ball is about to start! Follow us ! <\/p>\n

– Snowmen holding my hand… They talk… They call me my queen. Oh pur\u00e9e…. It’s the Veuve Cliquot from the night before starting to take effect.” Scared, Sophie doesn’t let on. She follows these things into a large room adorned with sumptuous gala dresses. It’s a swarm of gowns in cool tones of pearl-gray, white and orange. These works of art seem to have been carved from the minerals of an underground cave.<\/p>\n

With her mouth agape, Sophie pounces on these jewels of precious stones. As she reaches for one of the creations, it evaporates. As if drawn from a sweet dream, she finally wakes up. <\/p>\n

“Sophie… Sophie… Get up in there! Wake up deer.
\n– You’ll never believe it! I was the Snow Queen and I had a huge closet full of gorgeous dresses!
\n– Seriously… The day before yesterday, I showed you the photos from the Tony Ward fashion show, with proof to back them up. You liked it so much, you dreamed about it.
\nThat must be it. One thing’s for sure, these dresses have everything to make you dream.” <\/p>\n

As if plunged into an Andersen fairy tale, Tony Ward transports us into a frosty world where women fight this period of extreme cold in their own way. She dominates the winter season, revealing its most beautiful aspects. <\/p>\n

Winter isn’t appreciated for what it is. With this collection, Tony Ward shows that the icy wind can be a comforting caress. <\/p>\n
