Paul Smith’s influence on the fashion world is well established. The English designer with the iconic stripes, with over four hundred boutiques worldwide, twelve lines of clothing, and responsible for David Bowie’s wardrobe, is enjoying his ransom of fame. <\/p>\n

Always on the lookout for original ideas, this benchmark of masculine elegance is an ambassador for the Milan 2015 exhibition and supports organizations such as UKTI-a British government agency that helps foreign companies set up in the UK. On the occasion of the Milan exhibition, Paul Smith shared his knowledge of the fashion industry with three young London designers: Agi & Sam, Craig Green and Lee Roach. Their collections were then presented to the press and buyers. <\/p>\n

Opportunities are few and far between these days, at least that’s the impression given by current social and economic conditions. The fashion world seems to be that unattainable tower of money. Launching a brand means risking everything, and risk-taking seems to have become a luxury these days. Without a benevolent patron, the road is much rougher. So when a British dandy shows such generosity, we can only applaud the artist’s gesture. A true artist, because it’s not fame that drives him, but curiosity. Secret of his longevity, his support for these young designers will enable them to be cornered in a precious light. <\/p>\n

Agi & Sam , distinguishes itself by offering tailor-made suits with original prints and colors. Craig Green makes the work jacket and uniform theme the signature of his collections. As for Lee Roach, this very young designer is all about minimalism, with a focus on avoiding anything superfluous. <\/p>\n

So let’s celebrate creative verve, and encourage those behind the scenes to emerge. Paul Smith’s gesture seems to perfect this typically “British” gentlemanly character! <\/p>\n
