<\/a><\/p>\nFor the past eight editions, Art \u00c9lys\u00e9es – Art & Design has played an active part in the capital’s artistic effervescence, and the fair is a dynamic meeting place. An eagerly-awaited rendezvous for art lovers, collectors and professionals alike. <\/p>\n
Today, Art \u00c9lys\u00e9es – Art & Design has earned the status of a major event on the art market. With each edition, the organizers strive to bring new exhibitions to the public, and Art \u00c9lys\u00e9es contributes to the artistic and cultural dynamism of the City of Paris. <\/p>\n
The fair is above all a place where visitors can meet artists, museums, foundations and cultural institutions…<\/p>\n
2015 – YEAR OF LIGHT “ART \u00c9LYS\u00c9ES LIGHT PROJECT” EXHIBITION<\/p>\n
This year, Art \u00c9lys\u00e9es presents its “Art \u00c9lys\u00e9es Light Project” exhibition, featuring two artists in parallel: \u00c9ric Michel and Pierre Marie Lejeune, who both deal with light in their work. Two reflections, two totally different approaches to illustrating light in art. <\/p>\n
The visual artist uses light as a medium (“The materiality of light”), and the sculptor uses materials as a source of light in his work. In both cases, light plays a decisive role in the reading of their works. <\/p>\n

ART \u00c9LYS\u00c9ES LIGHT PROJECT” TOUR<\/p>\n
To complement the presentation of these two artists, each of the galleries taking part in the Art \u00c9lys\u00e9es fair is invited to focus on the theme of light, as a punctuation mark, a red thread, throughout the visit to the gallery walls. Visitors will discover the multiple uses of light in art through the different artistic currents from the post-war period to the present day. <\/p>\n
