This year, Dolce & Gabbana returns to the essentials, launching a collector’s edition of make-up products for the festive season. <\/p>\n

\"DSC_0006\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Lacquered reds and the permanent presence of gold adorn the brand’s sublime packaging. We find here a strong baroque inspiration from the Italian Renaissance, but one that remains consistent with the Dolce & Gabbana universe.
\nWe were lucky enough to be able to test the products during a make-up workshop with Dolce&Gabbana’s international make-up artist, Massimiliano della Maggesa. <\/p>\n

The One collectors’ Edition<\/p>\n

The embodiment of wisdom, the Greek goddess stamped on the bottle’s gold shield complements the sublime red lacquered dress, emblematic of the Dolce&Gabbana brand, and now an allegory of luxury that is the very essence of The One collector’s edition.<\/p>\n

Shimmer Lip Shine lipstick crystal color<\/p>\n

The color may scare you, but this is by no means a white lipstick. Matching the color of the stone on its packaging, this shimmer lipstick has a fairly transparent finish with a touch of satin. It can be applied on its own, to give a touch of shimmer, or in combination with another lipstick, placed in the center of the mouth for a plumping effect. <\/p>\n

Real Red Shine lipstick<\/p>\n

As the name suggests, this is a true red with rather cool, bluish tones, and looks perfect. Its creamy texture ensures near-perfect application and remains very pleasant all day long. As for pigmentation, there’s nothing to complain about. This red can be worn with any make-up. <\/p>\n

Shimmer powder duo for cheeks and eyes<\/p>\n

Ideal for festive make-up, this glittery white duo powder, tending towards silver, brings a touch of light to the eyes, when applied to the inner corner of the eye or to the entire mobile eyelid. It’s also a beautiful highlighter when applied to the cheeks. Pigmentation-wise, nothing to report. <\/p>\n

The Bronzer collector’s edition<\/p>\n

We finish with the collection’s flagship product, a real jewel, as much for the eyes as in the hands. Accompanied by a black velvet cover and a small gold brush, the bronzing powder is embellished with gold shield reliefs. Very light and glittery only on the surface, the bronzer warms the complexion while remaining natural. <\/p>\n
