Located on the most beautiful avenue in the world, the emblematic Maison Tiffany opened at the end of April, announcing the arrival on June 10 of the famous Tiffany Diamond.<\/p>\n

To coincide with the opening of this three-storey Parisian boutique, where luxury and voluptuousness reign, the famous Tiffany Diamond will leave Fifth Avenue for a limited time.<\/p>\n

The 287.42-carat diamond, acquired in 1878 by Charles Lewis Tiffany for $18,000, is one of the world’s largest and most beautiful yellow diamonds, which only two women have ever had the honor of wearing: Mrs. Mary Whitehouse<\/strong> – atthe 1957 Tiffany Ball in Newport, Rhode Island –<\/em> and Audrey Hepburn<\/strong> – in 1961 in the ads for the film Diamonds on the Sofa <\/em>. <\/p>\n

The Tiffany Diamond; <\/strong>discovered in the Kimberley mine in South Africa in 1877 is a rough, Paris-cut, cushion-cut stone of 128.54 carats. It has a record 82 facets – 24 more than the traditional cut – underscoring the diamond’s beauty and radiant color. <\/p>\n
