The quays of Paris are the venue chosen by the Taiwanese designer to present her Spring\/Summer 2014 women’s ready-to-wear collection this year.<\/p>\n

For this new season, Shiatzy Chen draws her inspiration from her childhood, from clich\u00e9s of colors and shapes engraved in her memory, which she boldly blends with the codes and colors of great artists such as Picasso and Mondrian.<\/p>\n
His inspiration comes in strong colors, tone on tone. The palette is broad, with primary, pastel and electric colors. <\/p>\n
Most of the materials used are embroidery, patchwork or knitted fabrics.<\/p>\n
Shiatzy Chen takes her technique to the extreme on dresses, skirts, tops or short jackets. The whole appears on a light transparency, evoking the vaporous memory of a delicate material, or on cotton evoking small sections of landscape. <\/p>\n
The Shiatzy Chen woman, with her fair complexion, ultra-nude make-up and lightly side-combed hair, is an artistic dreamer walking down memory lane, backed by nostalgic music.<\/p>\n
