LVMH and more than 30 Group companies sign the Charter for the Advancement of Women<\/p>\n

For the first time anywhere in the world, more than 30 companies belonging to a major French group, LVMH, have simultaneously pledged their support, both nationally and internationally, for the United Nations’ “Women’s Empowerment Principles”.(www.weprinciples.org)<\/a><\/p>\n

\nKrug, Mo\u00ebt & Chandon, Hennessy, Veuve Cliquot, Estates & Wines Wines, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Emilio Pucci, Marc Jacobs, Berluti, Christian Dior, Loewe, Givenchy, Acqua di Parma, Kenzo, Thomas Pink, Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, Parfums Loewe, Make Up For Ever, TAG Heuer, Fred, Chaumet, Dior Montres, Bulgari, Sephora, Le Bon March\u00e9, DFS and Les Echos, Le Jardin d’Acclimatation with Chantal Gamperle and in the presence of Toni Belloni.

\nOn the initiative of Chantal Gamperle, LVMH’s Director of Human Resources & Synergies, LVMH has brought together 150 senior executives and high-potential managers from around the world for a day dedicated to talent development.
\nThe day’s proceedings will conclude with an official ceremony at which LVMH and its Houses, represented by their Presidents who have come specially for the occasion, will sign the United Nations charter “Women Empowerment Principles”. This public commitment illustrates the special attention paid to female talent and the desire to offer men and women an international environment of excellence, in which they can fully express their potential. <\/p>\n

“LVMH employs over 110,000 people in a highly stimulating and demanding environment: our culture of creativity encourages us to propose innovative approaches to ensure the ongoing development of talent throughout their career with the Group,” emphasizes Chantal Gamperle, Director of Human Resources & Synergies for the LVMH Group.<\/p>\n

The French federation of Business and Professional Women (www.bpw.fr), an international NGO with a membership of 30,000 women worldwide, is campaigning for companies in France to make a commitment at national and international level. By signing this Charter, companies commit to continuing their progress in the field of gender equality, within the organization itself, in the marketplace and in communities. This is a 360\u00b0 action by business decision-makers to promote female talent. <\/p>\n

The WEPs are an initiative of UN Women and the Global Compact, and BPW is promoting them to companies in order to anchor in the long term the changes needed to give women full access to the economic sphere, at the highest corporate level.<\/p>\n
