Sharing Roger Dubuis’ audacity and ambition, Hypebeast wanted to create an original timepiece in the world of haute horlogerie.<\/p>\n

Roger Dubuis today unveils the fruit of this collaboration: a limited edition of the Excalibur MB. While retaining the shape of its signature star, Roger Dubuis has chosen to make it available in navy blue, one of Hypebeast’s flagship colors, which it has also applied to the bezel and the perimeter of the micro-rotor. <\/p>\n

To create an original contrast and highlight these fascinating navy-blue elements, the new Excalibur Hypebeast MB is housed in a 42 mm luminous white ceramic case, mounted on a white bracelet. This minimalist, contemporary approach further enhances the clean, expressive lines of the original Excalibur MB, while underlining the impressive mechanism at the heart of this masterpiece. <\/p>\n

Although ceramics are already widespread in the world of watchmaking, Roger Dubuis’ ceramic timepieces are distinguished by a series of feats that respond to a key principle: to make no compromise on the Maison’s signature shape. This is a first in watchmaking, as ceramic cases are generally designed to adapt to the material. Transforming ceramic from raw material to signature case requires exceptional talent on the part of Roger Dubuis, the transformation process taking 15 times longer than for gold. Only the most daring, the most dedicated and the most experienced dare to embark on such a project. Refusing to tarnish over time and ultra-resistant to everyday scratches, Roger Dubuis’ luminous white ceramic embodies the meeting of hyper-durability and hyper-expressivity in a single timepiece. <\/p>\n\n\t\t
