Bill Gaytten is artistic director of John Galliano. This season, for the men’s line, he delivers a colorful, printed collection. <\/p>\n
Energetic and rebellious, this show was electrifying to say the least, both in terms of music and casting. We witnessed a beautiful synergy of the different elements making up the show. <\/p>\n
Yellow, electric blue and blood orange are the strong colors of the collection, and are initially worn as total-looks. But there’s a gradual progression, with darker colors and prints gradually softening them.
\nWhat began with a palette of fairly strong hues is subtly transformed into a choice of calmer, more sober colors. <\/p>\n
Prints are the stars of the collection: 3D zigzags, polka dots, stripes, Bill Gaytten impresses us with his graphic versatility. Jacquard pieces are also noteworthy, as are tunics, jackets and pants. <\/p>\n
The John Galliano man’s attitude ranges from classic to relaxed. The designer experiments with layers and uneven lengths, making this a collection aimed at the younger set (the kind who wear platform shoes). <\/p>\n
The cast included: Corentin Renault, Simon Kotyk, Matthew Bell, Freddie Stoker, Jonathan Bauer Hayden, Yannick Abrath, Tom Webb, Botond Cseke, Reece Sanders, Ian Sharp, Arthur Gosse and Luuk Van Os.<\/p>\n
