This gave rise to the terroirs around Roche de Solutr\u00e9 and Vergisson, which produce the famous Pouilly-Fuiss\u00e9, and the special terroir around Mont de Cras and Mont Garcin, which produces M\u00e2con la Roche Vineuse. The soils of the Roche Vineuse appellation are clay-limestone, dating from the Quaternary period, and surprisingly, their structure is identical to that of Burgundy terroirs further north (C\u00f4te de Beaune and C\u00f4te de Nuits). This explains Gilles de Courcel and Jean-Pierre Confuron&#8217;s interest in this particular terroir.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\nThe 2011 vintage has a pale yellow color and reveals intense aromas of orange blossom, white and exotic fruits.
