The Peninsula Paris to dazzle the capital on August 1, 2014<\/h2>\n

The Peninsula Paris will make a grand entrance onto the Parisian scene on August 1. The opening marks the European debut of The Peninsula Hotels group, and sets new standards in design, luxury and comfort. <\/p>\n

\"Exterior<\/a><\/h2>\n

As the 14th hotel in Katar Hospitality’s 26-strong portfolio, The Peninsula Paris is set to become the most emblematic. Located not far from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elys\u00e9es in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, the establishment has been completely renovated to become a sumptuous Parisian palace. <\/p>\n

The historic architecture of the hotel, built in 1908, required a colossal investment by Katara Hospitality and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels.<\/p>\n

France’s finest craftsmen worked for four consecutive years to renovate this exceptional place. Through meticulous research and work, the French heritage has re-emerged, sublimated by the combination of the contemporary and the ancient. The architectural restoration of the building was led by Richard Martinet of Affine Architecture & Interior Design, and the interior design by Henry Leung of Chhada Siembieda & Associates Ltd. <\/p>\n

\"Lobby<\/a>\"Lobby<\/a><\/p>\n

Romanticism, elegance and French art de vivre come together here.<\/p>\n

French tradition meets Asian refinement in a perfectly balanced combination, where the best of both cultures come together to form an exceptional whole.<\/p>\n

From the Avenue Kl\u00e9ber facade, you can see the first chic, uncluttered terrace, dotted with plants. The entrance opens onto the Empire-style lobby, renovated in the colors of yesteryear. Strolling along a white marble parterre, the corridors are adorned with moldings and crystal sconces. <\/p>\n

\"Dancing<\/a>\"Moon<\/a><\/p>\n

Two restaurants with different universes will delight the taste buds of aesthetes.<\/p>\n

Located on the ground floor, Lili is an Asian restaurant serving gourmet Cantonese cuisine. The chromatic palette evolves around dark wood, creamy beige and violet, sprinkled with blue. <\/p>\n

\"LiLi\"<\/a><\/p>\n

L’Oiseau Blanc is the hotel’s second restaurant. Majestically situated on the building’s 7th floor, it will offer traditional French cuisine with a modern twist, in addition to a view of Paris. Rooted in French heritage, the name and design of the restaurant refers to the plane “L’Oiseau Blancs” which, piloted by a French aviator, attempted to fly from Paris to New York. <\/p>\n

The hotel’s rooms and suites are a showcase of Asian refinement. High-tech, modern and comfortable, the rooms are among the most personalized in the world. <\/p>\n
