Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world’s ten largest hotel groups, announces the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Rouen in France. The 91-room property is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2015, adding to Carlson Rezidor’s French portfolio of 23 hotels in operation or under development. <\/p>\n

A central location in the heart of Rouen, just a short walk from the train station and adjacent to the medieval Jeanne d’Arc tower. In addition to 91 guest rooms offering typical Radisson Blu brand services such as free high-speed Internet access, the upscale, full-service establishment will include a 139 m\u00b2 continuous-service restaurant, a 100 m\u00b2 bar area, 297 m\u00b2 of meeting and event facilities, as well as a 118 m\u00b2 gym and spa. The hotel’s architecture and design will be an attractive blend of historic and new buildings. <\/p>\n
Located in northern France, the city of Rouen is the capital of the Haute-Normandie region and known as the historic capital of Normandy. The city is also beginning to focus on leisure tourism, and has become a popular destination for cultural breaks, weekend getaways and corporate travel. <\/p>\n
