\nLe Village des Cr\u00e9ateurs presents from February 12 to 20, 2013, at Joyce Gallery, an exhibition showcasing the interactions between fashion and design. A crossroads between textile creation, artistic gesture, poetry and innovation. In a singular scenography, on a carpet of crumpled paper and in raw wood cases, the public is invited to discover original pieces by creators and designers, residents or members of the Village des Cr\u00e9ateurs. An initiatory journey and a call to the senses between imagination and creation. <\/p>\n

ANDREA VAGGIONE \/ Contemporary jewelry
\nOriginally from Argentina, Andrea Vaggione began her career in the jewelry world in 2001 in her native C\u00f3rdoba. In 2005, she left Argentina for Barcelona, where she spent the next 5 years honing her knowledge and expertise in jewelry. In 2010, she moved to Lyon to develop her company and her business. Winner of the Talents de Mode 2012 competition, Andrea Vaggione presents a contemporary jewelry collection called “A fleur de peau”. A delicate and refined work, inspired by botany, revolving around the notions of permanent transformation and perpetual movement. She moves to the Village des Cr\u00e9ateurs in September 2012. www.andreavaggione.com <\/p>\n

MORGAN KIRCH \/ Women’s ready-to-wear
\nA graduate of ESMOD and winner of the Talents de Mode 2011 competition, Morgan Kirch created his eponymous women’s ready-to-wear label. He revisits the great classics, combining rigorous cuts and pure lines. His collections are often monochrome, designed in sophisticated, natural materials. He works and masters volumes that sublimate the silhouette and asserts an elegant, racy style. In September 2011, he set up shop in the Village des Cr\u00e9ateurs, where he has since developed his brand, now represented in several boutiques in Paris and Geneva. www.morgankirch.com <\/p>\n

BORIS FUCHY \/ Women’s ready-to-wear
\nMaking the total look the emblem of his style, Boris Fuchy offers resolutely black ready-to-wear models, to which he likes to add a dash of color. Numbered, his collections are timeless, and can be worn in summer or winter. He plays on material effects, surfing between fluidity and sobriety. Located in the Village des Cr\u00e9ateurs, he presents his collections in an intimate, loft-like boutique, where illustrations by artist Lilianorak adorn the walls. www.borisfuchy.com <\/p>\n

REMY BOUHANICHE \/ Design
\nR\u00e9mi Bouhaniche founded the USIN-e label with Amaury Poudray in 2009, and works with Granville Gallery, The Gallery and AD, Association de Designers. He created the “Etirement” lamp, which won 1st Prize in the “D3 Contest” at IMM Cologne and was a finalist in the “Light and Building” competition in Franckfurt. In 2011, R\u00e9my Bouhaniche was awarded the ADERA grant and collaborated with textile designer Lucie Bourreau on a collection of embroidered objects. That same year, he took over the artistic direction of two Magppie boutiques in New Delhi and Mumbai, where he developed new concepts for living spaces.

WOODEN \/ Design
\nTiphaine Vasse studied applied arts and design in Paris. In 2006, she founded “Cerise noire”, a design and communications agency, working on global, multi-media communications projects. In 2011, she developed “WOODEN”, a brand of wooden furniture and lighting, born of a desire to redefine design around ethical values and sustainability. She is also a photographer and co-founder of the Miror-Miror art gallery in Lyon. www.woodendesign.fr <\/p>\n

AMAURY POUDRAY \/ Design
\nA graduate of the Saint-Etienne School of Art and Design, Amaury Poudray founded the USIN-e brand in 2009 with R\u00e9mi Bouhaniche, which was awarded the Label VIA 2011. He joined the FABRICA team, Benetton Group’s research and communications center, for 1 year. His work includes collaborations with publishers such as Ligne Roset and Petite Friture, and art galleries such as Galerie S.Bensimon, Vivid Gallery and Granville Gallery. He is a consulting professor at the Institut Paul Bocuse. In 2012, he and Lisa Lejeune won the prize for best scenography at the “Design Tour” in Lyon, as part of the “Oser!” exhibition presented at the Village des Cr\u00e9ateurs. www.amaurypoudray.com <\/p>\n

LISA LEJEUNE \/ Design
\nLisa Lejeune is a designer specializing in furniture. A graduate of the Beaux Arts in Lyon, trained in cabinetmaking and furniture design, she set up her own \u00e0 la carte furniture design studio in 2009. From small occasional pieces to bookcases, store fittings and even liturgical furniture, she responds to a wide range of commissions from individuals, companies and institutions. Her creative approach is above all eco-responsible, and wood remains her material of choice; wood from sustainably managed forests. www.lisa-lejeune.com <\/p>\n

ANAIS BRETONNET \/ Design
\nA graduate of the Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure d’Art et de Design de Saint-Etienne, Ana\u00efs Bretonnet moved to Lyon in 2009. Sobriety and originality are the watchwords of this designer’s creations in furniture and lighting. Influenced by Japanese culture, she likes to shake things up by proposing objects that combine elegance and raw forms. Rather than seeing objects as having a limited function, Ana\u00efs Bretonnet focuses on giving them new meaning. www.anais-bretonnet.com <\/p>\n
