By decree of the President of the Republic dated July 13, 2012, Nathalie Chaize was named Chevalier de la L\u00e9gion d’Honneur. A distinction that honors the designer for her 26 years of creation and her commitment to society.
\nThe insignia of Chevalier de la L\u00e9gion d’Honneur will be presented to her by Fran\u00e7ois Turcas, President of CGPME Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes and in the presence of G\u00e9rard Collomb, Senator – Mayor of Lyon, on Friday December 21, 2012, in the salons of Lyon’s H\u00f4tel de Ville.

\nNathalie Chaize
\nFounded on chosen and desired encounters, Nathalie Chaize’s career took shape early on, in the wake of her father’s peregrinations. Africa, Asia… form the education of the eye, the intuition of forms, an inalienable taste for colors, lights, women’s bodies.
\nFour years of architecture then built a real sense of requirement and efficiency and definitively marked the conception and vision of a profession. Combining the sparkle of imagination with the constant quest for functionality. The garment must hold femininity high and be effective on the body. \nNathalie Chaize loves design, pattern-making, materials and technique. She is fully and sincerely involved. – Supporting women in difficulty.
\nNathalie Chaize had long wanted to get involved in supporting women in difficulty. An excellent partnership has been set up with the City of Lyon and one of its partner structures: the ZIG ZAG workshop.
\nZIG ZAG is a “Atelier et Chantier d’Insertion” (ACI) run by the EUREQUA local authority, which since 2001 has been carrying out socio-professional integration initiatives for women in precarious situations. The aim of this structure is to create, through a sewing support activity, a tool for social integration that can serve as a springboard towards employment. Nathalie CHAIZE supports this project and the women of the ZIG ZAG workshop with donations of clothing, fabrics, supplies and patterns. <\/p>\n

Work on self-confidence and self-image, on colorimetry, morphology and style for professional purposes. Nathalie Chaize offers a wardrobe of nearly 300 items, which are replaced and readjusted as and when stock and restocking requirements change.
