As I announced<\/a>, the Femmes en Or<\/strong> 2012 ceremony<\/strong> took place yesterday in Courchevel 1850.<\/p>\n

After an intense day on the ski slopes of the 3 Vall\u00e9es, decked out in a magnificent Rossignol<\/a> jacket, guests were able to attend this 20th edition and discover the winners.<\/strong> We can only salute its eclecticism, from which we could not have expected more from the committee of experts who elected these women, even if the choices must have been difficult. <\/p>\n

Here are the 12 women present at the presentation of 10 trophies:<\/p>\n

Jennifer Flay<\/strong>, General Manager of FIAC<\/a>. A fine video interview to come, revealing the motivations and convictions of this Franco-New Zealander, Woman of Art with Hyatt Regency Paris Madeleine. <\/p>\n

Marie-Am\u00e9lie le Fur<\/strong>, senior high-level sportswoman since 2010 and triple Paralympic medallist (including Paralympic 100m Champion): Femme d’Exploit, whose blog I invite you to visit without further delay http:\/\/www.marie-amelie-lefur.fr<\/a><\/p>\n

Claire Nouvian<\/strong><\/a>President and Founder of Bloom Association<\/a>: Woman of the Environment with SNCF. A fascinating account of how her association is trying to protect the oceans from industrial fishing, for example. <\/p>\n

Alice Pol<\/strong>, actress: Female cinema revelation with Renault.<\/p>\n

Imany<\/a>, <\/strong>singer-songwriter: Femme r\u00e9v\u00e9lation musique with Mauboussin. After receiving her trophy, she sang one of her hits“You will never know<\/a>“; what a joy to hear her, that husky, warm voice, which can only warm the heart, even if the melodies and lyrics are so melancholy… too bad, her French tour ends this Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Lyon but we’re bound to see her again soon so stay tuned to book your tickets. <\/p>\n

Bouchra Jarrar<\/a><\/strong>stylist: Femme de style. We’re delighted, as she’s the surprise winner in this category; the predictions were for Laurence Dolig\u00e9 or Gabriella Cortese, designer of Antik Batik. I salute her work as designer for her own House for nearly 3 years and 6 successful collections<\/a> already. Her pure, feminine lines, which also borrow from masculine codes, are discreet and elegant. We love it. <\/p>\n

Daphn\u00e9 B\u00fcrki<\/strong><\/a>TV presenter, notably on Canal + alongside Michel Denisot: Woman of the media. And where there’s media, there’s interview: the one she gave me is sparkling; be patient, I’ll share it with you here very soon. <\/p>\n

S\u00e9verine Sigrist<\/strong>, head of the CEED laboratory: Woman of Innovation with ERDF<\/a><\/p>\n

Sandra Le Grand<\/strong>, founder and CEO of Kalidea (ex-CanalCE): Woman of Enterprise with Orange<\/a><\/p>\n

Marie Trellu Kane, Lisbeth Shepherd & Anne-Claire Pache<\/strong>, co-founders of the Unis-Cit\u00e9: Femmes de Coeur association with Coca-Cola light, which honors 3 women in the field whose interviews I’ll be bringing you soon… because they deserve our attention for their civic project.<\/p>\n

The only person absent from the evening was dancer Sylvie Guillem<\/strong><\/a> who is now the 2012 Femme de spectacle. A very good choice indeed, for one who represents grace and excellence all at once, and whom we would have loved to have among us! <\/p>\n

Daphn\u00e9 B\u00fcrki and Alice Pol, winners of Femmes en Or 2012<\/p><\/div>\n

Finally, the public chose its Golden Woman of the Year, in an online election, notably on Facebook.Isabelle Giordano<\/strong> concluded the ceremony by revealing that the prize had been awarded to Marie-Am\u00e9lie Le Fur<\/strong> (Femme d’Exploit winner). <\/p>\n

She was the big winner of this year’s event, and has become a firm favorite with the general public. The 300 guests in the Gilles de la Rocque auditorium gave her a standing ovation<\/strong> each time she took to the stage to receive her trophy. It was an obvious recognition of her incredible career. <\/p>\n

At just 24,<\/strong> she represents hope, dynamism, the desire to surpass herself and to help others. The woman who made her dream come true by becoming a triple medallist at the London Paralympic Games is a model of courage. The victim of a scooter accident and tibia amputee in her teens, she has been a member of the French handisport athletics team since 2006. <\/p>\n

Today, she works to enable young people to make their dreams come true<\/strong>, whatever their starting conditions and whatever life throws at them…<\/p>\n

Inevitably touching, Marie-Am\u00e9lie was the highlight of the ceremony. In fact, the founder of Femmes en Or, Jean-Louis Sevez<\/strong>, was one of the first to congratulate her (he himself was exceptionally honoured as a ” Homme en Or<\/strong> ” for his 20 years of commitment to this wonderful project), as can be seen in this photo: <\/p>\n

After a ceremony with presenter Laurent Boyer<\/strong> and the group of performers Airnadette<\/strong><\/a>we headed for the Palace des Neiges<\/a>, one of the 4 establishments in the Alp’Azur<\/a> hotels group, managed by Ren\u00e9 Guth. Ren\u00e9 Guth is the man who brought the Femmes en Or back to Courchevel this year, and we can’t thank him enough for his warm welcome and warm atmosphere. <\/p>\n

We had the pleasure of witnessing performances by the group Gush<\/strong><\/a>and a private concert by nominee Inna Modja<\/strong><\/a> (Music category), whose talent, charm and smile made her one of my favorites. My choice was confirmed during a meeting and natural exchange soon to be unveiled on video… stay tuned \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n

For the more energetic, the evening was long and festive, and full of surprises, such as the return of Charlie Winston<\/strong> for a jam session. The man who had also set the mood at the end of the ceremony with a beautiful session, didn’t skimp on his generosity as an artist…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Tsarine<\/strong> champagne<\/a> was much appreciated by the guests, even if some stayed with Coca-Cola<\/strong> (diet or not) to be more reasonable \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

On this Sunday, December 16, the winners, nominees, partners and organizers of this not-to-be-missed event returned to Moutiers as one big family. 18 vehicles Renault<\/a> <\/strong>accompanied us throughout the weekend: a big job, with availability and a smile to boot, so hats off to them. <\/p>\n

From there, we headed back to Paris on the special train always chartered by the SNCF. SNCF<\/strong><\/a>. As on the outward journey, it was a real pleasure to get on board. The crews had prepared relaxation areas for us, with massages and manicures (by L’Or\u00e9al), reading areas with a “detective novel” corner(see photo below with serial twitterer and blogger @Najett2France<\/a><\/em>), books\/BDs and even digital tablets, and so on. <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We leave with our minds full of positive thoughts, thanks to the talents, backgrounds, profiles and commitments of these women, who make us all “ambassadors of these shared ideals<\/strong> “(in the words of Gilles Portelle, CEO of Havas S&E<\/em>), without whom we wouldn’t have been here.<\/p>\n

Because they’re a tremendous inspiration to us all, we wish these thirteen golden women<\/strong> every success in their future endeavors, and continued progress in tomorrow’s society.<\/p>\n

Happy birthday<\/strong> to Femmes en Or and long life, at least for the next 20 years!<\/p>\n

And a big bravo and thank you to the Havas<\/a> organizing teams<\/strong>, who will recognize themselves: you’re behind a project that makes sense, and you’re committed and demanding.
