We recently had the pleasure of meeting a traditional house during a highly original event: a croquet tournament!<\/p>\n

This house introduced us to its nuggets, as well as its latest creation Authentic Green, a champagne made from organically grown, AB-certified grapes that delighted us with its quality and freshness.<\/p>\n

But first, a little history…<\/p>\n

Canard-Duch\u00eane combines a unique origin, history and style, symbolized by the House’s signature, Naturellement Noble.<\/p>\n

Since 1868, the House has been located in Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims Natural Park, at the crossroads of Champagne’s most prestigious terroirs. Ludes symbolizes the excellence of Pinot Noir in the Champagne vineyards. It is from this exceptional natural environment that Canard-Duch\u00eane has drawn its rich oenological heritage since its creation. <\/p>\n

At the end of the 19th century, Canard-Duch\u00eane was recognized as worthy of bearing the coat of arms of the Imperial House of Russia, the crowned double-headed eagle, an emblem that has magnified the House ever since.

\nCanard-Duch\u00eane’s Authentic range has been extended with the arrival of
\nAuthentic Green, a champagne wine made from organically grown grapes and certified AB.<\/p>\n

Made from a blend of 50% CHardonnay, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir, vinified in oak barrels, Authentic Green is characterized by its light, gourmet and original style. Pale yellow in color, the nose reveals stewed aromas and light woody notes. Authentic Green delicately grabs the palate with a lovely impression of freshness contrasted by the roundness of fruity notes. <\/p>\n

Authentic Green can be enjoyed at impromptu moments of conviviality. Its distinctive character and subtle balance make it a real flavour enhancer, and this champagne
\nwill go equally well with foie gras or antipasti. <\/p>\n
