For timepiece enthusiasts, the Belles Montres show is the place to be this weekend. From November 23 to 25, 2012<\/strong>, the Carrousel du Louvre welcomes you from 10am to 7pm to meet the professionals and discover their new products, in an ideal setting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

“With more than 14,500 visitors to its 5th edition<\/strong> in 2011 (6800 visitors in 2007), the Belles Montres show is now one of the world’s leading watch events. Three unique days in France, during which 60 watch brands<\/strong> share their passion and knowledge in a friendly atmosphere.” <\/p>\n

When he created the show in 2007, Alain Faust’s aim was “to open up the world of high-tech watchmaking to as many people as possible, to bring together in the same place major brands and smaller ones that are often unknown in France, and to help people appreciate and understand what fine watchmaking is<\/em> all about<\/em> “.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s a gamble that has paid off<\/strong>! Once again this year, Belles Montres offers the public a glimpse into a world usually reserved for watch industry professionals and regular visitors to Place Vend\u00f4me, the universal and timeless symbol of luxury.<\/p>\n

Establishing itself as France’s must-attend event for prestige watchmaking, Belles Montres is going one step further by re-editing a space dedicated to women<\/strong>. As Catherine Faust-Tobiasse, co-founder and artistic director of Belles Montres, explains, ” it’s because, over the last few years, they too have developed a real infatuation for beautiful mechanics! But they’re still women, they like to indulge themselves with diamonds and precious stones, and it’s this marriage of technology and glamour that they’ll find at this prestigious exhibition. <\/em> “.<\/p>\n
