VEVO ARRIVES IN FRANCE: A REVOLUTION IN THE WORLD OF MUSIC

\nVEVO: the only free hosting platform offering artist-validated clips and content with outstanding sound and image quality<\/p>\n

VEVO, the global music and entertainment video hosting platform, launches today in France, giving French users access to over 50,000 video clips, concerts and other new music programs from international bands and French artists.<\/p>\n

Partially accessible in France since 2011 thanks to its partner YouTube, the VEVO platform is now fully accessible from France via http:\/\/vevo.com and free apps for smartphones and iPads (VEVO will soon be available on mobile Internet and Xbox). To offer the best music video programming experience, VEVO connects fans to artists by making the music they love available anywhere, anytime, for free. The VEVO music video experience is personal and digital for the user, thanks to a tight integration with Facebook that allows users to share and recommend clips and playlists inspired by their musical favorites. It is also possible to create playlists and share videos via other social networks. VEVO also offers video on demand and streaming. <\/p>\n

In addition to original music videos and series, VEVO also offers concerts. In February, VEVO enabled music fans the world over to watch the live broadcast of rap star Pitbull’s Carnival concert in Salvador, Brazil. The event was broadcast live in France and many other countries around the world, with the support of Unilever. <\/p>\n

VEVO has already forged numerous partnerships with local brands through its YouTube presence. Brands such as Procter & Gamble, RenaultNissan and La Francaise des Jeux have participated in the exclusive launch of new music videos in France. <\/p>\n
