We had the privilege of previewing the series in the presence of the film’s cast and crew, and we loved it! Chris Vance almost makes us forget Jason Statham by adding a human side, and the series format allows us to discover the characters in greater detail. Action is also omnipresent. <\/p>\n

\nFrank Martin<\/strong>
\nEx-member of the elite SAS unit, Frank rents out his “transporter” services, no questions asked, to anyone who will pay. His strict code of conduct, precision driving and fighting skills enable him to outlast the most dangerous criminals on every mission. Very secretive, Frank trusts only a few people: his agent Carla, his mechanic Dieter and a police inspector, Tarconi. But his circle of acquaintances expands with the arrival of Juliette, a mysterious and sexy woman who takes a keen interest in his activities… Whether it’s delivering a parcel,
\nor dining with a beautiful woman (as he often does), Frank is always on time, in his impeccable suit… <\/p>\n

Chris Vance, alias Franck Martin in the series, is an Anglo-Australian actor. He starred as Sean Everleigh in the hit Australian series “All Saints”.
\nHe also appeared in the series “Burn Notice”, “Prison Break”
\nand “Dexter”. In 2011, he was chosen to succeed Jason Statham
\nin the TV adaptation of “The Transporter” films. <\/p>\n

Interview Chris Vance<\/strong>
\nHow did you take on the role of Frank Martin, previously played by Jason Statham?<\/em>
\nI love what Jason has done for the film franchise, he was impressive. From my
\nside, I included a few of his gestures as a tribute to his work, but above all I
\ntried to make the character my own. I had to be as
\nbelievable as possible in this role to satisfy the viewers. <\/p>\n

How did you go about working on the action scenes? Do the choreographed fights require a lot of preparation? <\/em>
\nAs a child, I did a lot of sports: soccer, skiing, canoeing and climbing, but never
\ncombat sports. I discovered this with Cyril Raffaelli and Mohammed Elachi, the
\ntwo best fight stunt managers on the market. I’m very proud
\nto have worked with them and honored by the time they gave me to rehearse all
\nthese choreographies. They’re incredible! <\/p>\n

Between Delphine Chan\u00e9ac, Fran\u00e7ois Berl\u00e9and, Michel Julienne and Cyril Raffaelli, you were surrounded by French people. Did they teach you our language? <\/em>
\nYes, I’ve learned a few words so that I can get around outside the set and be
\npolite. Speaking of which, what does “for fuck’s sake” mean again? I think I learned it from
\nFran\u00e7ois. He’d be upset if he knew I’d already forgotten his lessons! <\/p>\n

You filmed in Paris and Cap Roux. Did you already know France?<\/em>
\nI’ve been to France many times before and I love your country! Paris is
\nreally my favorite city to shoot in. And I’ll tell you a secret: my girlfriend
\nis French! “No names”, that’s the rule, I can’t break it! <\/p>\n

Frank has rules, but he’s always breaking them. Are you limitless too?<\/em>
\nUnfortunately not, because I’m well aware of my limits, and that’s why
\nplaying a character who has none is so much fun!<\/p>\n

A crack production team
\nTo maintain the spirit of the films, the production team decided to hire the same team that gave “the touch” to the feature films: Michel Julienne for car stunts, Cyril Raffaelli and Mohammed El Achi for action scene choreography. Brad Turner, director of “Transporteur, la s\u00e9rie”, has worked on numerous productions such as “24”, “Hawa\u00ef 5-0” and “Homeland”, while showrunner Timothy J.
