This year, for the first time, Maison Henriot has created an artistic trilogy of three exceptional Ros\u00e9 cuv\u00e9es.<br \/>\nCellar Master Laurent Fresnet has selected three outstanding Ros\u00e9 Mill\u00e9sim\u00e9s. The years 1988, 1989 and 1990 represent exceptional vintages, the fruit of excellence and time, sublimated by the optimal magnum format. The rarity of these bottles makes them mythical wines.<br \/>\nMaison Henriot has given three promising artists carte blanche to work in limited series on the presentation of these extraordinary vintages.<br \/>\nAnne-Laure Sacristie, Richard Fauguet and &#8220;le Gentil Gar\u00e7on&#8221; are the three winners<br \/>\n2009, 2010, 2011 of the &#8220;Prix Champagne Henriot du Catalogue d&#8217;Artiste&#8221;. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp, his world is based on the use of everyday objects, hijacked in the spirit of the &#8220;ready made&#8221;.<br \/>\nTo create his bottle, he therefore played on the effects of materials and contrasts, perforating the original case to give it a sparkling dimension, and dressing the bottle in a metallic robe.<br \/>\nWith its fine, sustained effervescence, this wine reveals a salmon color with light coppery highlights. Its bouquet is distinguished by delicate fruity, smoky and lightly toasted sensations. On the palate, its rich aroma evokes floral notes (orange blossom), citrus (pink grapefruit) and spices (cinnamon). For this bottle, she chose to superimpose iridescent layers to create an effect of transparency and depth. A theme that evokes the iridescent notes of champagne and its complex color, also suggested by the mirror-reading treatment of the label and bottle cap.<br \/>\nThis wine&#8217;s orange-pink hue, dotted with slight coppery highlights, is perfectly matched by its fine, persistent bubbles. The sedimentary strata are suggested on the case by graphic elements in a cameo of iridescent pink, dotted with gems that also evoke the precious character of the terroir. The bottle, with its stacked elements, reflects the bold balance of this cuv\u00e9e.<br \/>\nThe fine, regular effervescence matches the salmon-pink color and orange highlights of this vintage. The bouquet, both fine and powerful, develops aromas of red fruit and dark berries, then reveals stewed (rhubarb) and exotic (guava, papaya) fragrances.
