Freshness and femininity. These were the watchwords of the collection presented at the Sorbonne for Sharon Wauchob’s Spring Summer 2013 season. <\/p>\n
Based in Paris since 1998, the Irish designer has made a name for herself among the greats, thanks in particular to her conception of the woman and the elegance she infuses into her collections. This season’s motto is to define without discovering, and the designer has understood this perfectly. <\/p>\n
Over-the-knee length or pants, the Sharon Wauchob woman is unpretentious, even if she dares transparency in dark colors, she’s never flashy and her outfits are examples of mastery and perfection.<\/p>\n
No great fantasies in terms of color palette, with the exception of two looks featuring bright orange married to lilac. Summer will therefore be monochromatic, of course, but never boring. The aim here is to attract the eye in a subtle way, and it’s through her technique and cuts that the designer fascinates. <\/p>\n
The collection is captivating in its lightness, with plenty of silk and organza. Outfits are light, easy and evoke a palette of impressions ranging from the falsely negligee at bedtime to the mysterious, bourgeois grande dame. <\/p>\n
