This month, the Intercontinental continues its 150th anniversary celebrations with music. In keeping with our commitment to quality, elegance and inventiveness, we are offering a variety of evenings for music lovers. <\/p>\n
Every Thursday and Friday evening this month, aesthetes can come and sensitize their eardrums to the sound of pleasant melodies. To do so, they’ll have to head to the hotel’s Bar Cosy. There, from 7 p.m. onwards, they’ll be able to listen to a different program each week. Of course, the F\u00eate de la Musique will be an exceptional evening. A duo of pianist and singer will perform Les Chansons Glamour in the jazz of the 40s. The adventure continues on June 22. On June 28 and 29, a trio of pianist, double bass and drums will revive the great standards of the 50s. <\/p>\n
The bar will be serving two cocktails, including one created to celebrate the establishment’s 150th anniversary. The Margherita Cent Cinquantenaire is a subtle blend of Grand Mariner 150 ans, patron silver tequila, fresh lemon juice and bitter orange. This cocktail is a tribute to Empress Eugenie, who was sensitive to the flavors of Grand Marnier when she frequented the place. <\/p>\n
The other beverage, the Original Dry Martini, combines Gin Tanqueray, Noilly-Prat and bitter orange. Created in 1904 by Franck Newmann, then head bartender at the Intercontinental, it evokes the actress Sarah Bernhardt. <\/p>\n
Lulled by melodious sounds, transported by delicate fragrances, every music lover will appreciate these moments. <\/p>\n
