On a black background, the only figurative inspiration is the pink flamingo, but transfigured by a softly punkish, relaxed sensibility akin to the offbeat lyricism of Zandra Rhodes. In this landscape of quilted surfaces, pajama-like volumes, fringed shawls bursting with fuchsia or blurred yellow, the origami jewelry designed by Ornamento MTO bursts with gleaming metallicity.
