In the magnificent setting of the Natural History Museum’s Galerie de Min\u00e9ralogie, Damir Doma, the 29-year-old German-Croatian prodigy, presented his second women’s collection.<\/p>\n

In just a few short years, Damir Doma has imposed his mystical, introspective touch on the world of fashion week. After men’s fashion, where his style has made its mark to the point of influencing some of the greatest, he turned his attention to women’s, where for the past two seasons, his shows have been hailed as a unique moment of poetry in Paris fashion week.<\/p>\n

At Damir Doma, the women’s wardrobe is akin to the men’s wardrobe, with one influencing the other. We are plunged into an introspective, spiritual and mystical universe, with noble materials and pure cuts.
\nBut this season, bursts of saffron and orange colors intrude into a black and gray wardrobe, recalling the colors of the bonzes. Femininity is asserted throughout, as tops and skirts are shortened. <\/p>\n

“Freed from the rib of Man”, the Damir Doma woman is free, confident, and walks with a determined step towards her rediscovered femininity.<\/p>\n
