Agn\u00e8s b, a designer widely known for her cosmetics and fashion creations, has just launched a series of pens and fountain pens in collaboration with the Waterman brand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Designed and manufactured in France, the Agn\u00e8s b pen is signed with a silver lacquer dot of irony. This punctuation mark, unfortunately forgotten by many (if not all), means a lot to the designer, who discovered it at the age of 8 in a dictionary given to her by her father. For Agn\u00e8s b, the irony point symbolizes ” casual elegance, both simple and sophisticated<\/em> “, adjectives that also characterize her. <\/p>\n

For the record, the point of irony was created by in the late 19th century by a French poet, and is placed at the end of a sentence (like an exclamation mark) to indicate that it should be taken in the second degree. Agn\u00e8s b confides that she would like to see the ironic point reappear in everyday life, in literature as well as in cell phone text messages and e-mails. <\/em><\/p>\n
