Dermatology brand Clinique has turned its attention to our redness and decided to help us in our quest for the perfect complexion, by creating Anti-Redness Soothing Mineral Powder.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As the name suggests, it’s a mineral powder<\/strong> that makes redness disappear, thanks to its unique formula based on caffeine, magnolia, grapefruit and even mushroom! When you open the powder case, you’ll be immediately surprised by its astonishing yellow color. Don’t panic, you won’t have a chick complexion after application – on the contrary, your skin will look more even <\/strong>and clearer, as reddened areas disappear. <\/p>\n

Sold with an anti-bacterial brush<\/strong>, this powder can perfectly replace foundation. However, I don’t recommend applying it all over the face and then using your foundation. If you do, your foundation may be more difficult to apply and your make-up won’t look as natural as you’d like. <\/p>\n

For a precise, meticulous application, use a fine brush and apply a little powder only to very pink areas of the face (the sides of the nose, a small pimple).<\/p>\n

Then (and only if you feel it’s necessary), apply your everyday foundation all over your face.<\/p>\n

The pluses<\/span>: A product to be recommended, because after testing it really delivers on its promise, while differentiating itself from the green correctors usually used to mask redness. A brush is placed under the powder, which is both practical and hygienic. This powder is odorless (and between you and me, what could be more unpleasant than kissing a woman smelling the powder’s characteristic fragrance from 3 kilometers away?) <\/p>\n

Minus <\/span>: the case is functional, but not particularly aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Finally, it’s comforting to know that at Clinique, the emphasis is on product quality.<\/p>\n
