In response to the terrible events in Japan in recent weeks, S.T.Dupont urgently developed a limited series called “Hope”, a sincere message of hope and support for the hard-hit Japanese population.
\nThe “Hope” limited series will feature two product universes, a D\u00e9fi pen and a Ligne 8 lighter, both designed around a bright lacquered red, conveying positive images and a true symbol of love and life.
\nFor the D\u00e9fi pen and Ligne 8 lighter, we’ve chosen the famous symbol of cherry blossom (Cherry Blossom or ‘Sakura’ in Japanese), heralding renewal in Japan, and featuring the Japanese calligraphy of the word Hope. A theme dear to a culture that has always made the fragility of an ephemeral world an essential motif of its artistic representation.
\nAll profits from the sale, i.e. 50 euros per product, will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross via the French Red Cross, as a token of our support for Japan.
