\"\"<\/a>Richelieu Drouot, a prestigious auction house, is offering a number of sales this May with a strong vintage focus. The first, on May 9, focused on the Vuitton collections. Bags, trunks and various fashion accessories were featured. The H\u00f4tel du 9 rue Drouot was packed with connoisseurs. Attentive to auctioneer G. Delettrez’s proposals, they became increasingly enthusiastic as the sale progressed. The “mise \u00e0 prix” amounts were very affordable, as were the “adjudications” or final sales. Among the first lots was a pair of crocodile and black patent leather pumps. Put up for sale at 120 euros, they went for 390 euros.

\nThe bags, particularly present, were very diverse. There were several types. Their shapes varied, as did their names. From the butterfly to the ‘Cannes’ bag, not forgetting the much-represented ‘speedy’, virtually all the brand’s ‘classics’ were represented. Monograms also changed. A few collectors emerged from the ensemble. One of these, lot 159, a ‘speedy’ bag in mirror monogram, sold for 6,300 euros. The weekend bag designed by Sofia Coppola in 2009\/2010 went for 1,500 euros.

\nThe trunks recall the history of the Maison Vuitton. In 1854, the year the company was founded, they accounted for the bulk of production. The travel object could have a variety of functions: hat trunk, cabin trunk or wardrobe, and so on. On May 9, a dozen of them were presented.

\nThe Herm\u00e8s sale will take place on May 30 and 31. There’s no doubt that the famous saddler will be just as popular with the public. Aesthetes will be thrilled once again, and a frenzy will be the order of the day, led by the petulant G. Delettrez. Delettrez. <\/p>\n
