For the fourteenth year running, Getty Images will be sponsoring and supporting the Young Lions Competition at the International Advertising Festival, to be held in Cannes from June 19 to 25. The aim of the competition is to encourage the world’s best teams of young creatives to create the year’s finest campaign, in a race against the clock.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nEntrants can use the creative, editorial and multimedia content and archive collections made available by Getty Images.
\nDuring the week, five competitions will be held at the Palais des Festivals: Print, Cyber, Film, Media and Young Marketers. Each team must design and launch a promotional campaign for a non-profit organization within 24 hours (48 hours for the Film category), which means the teams are under constant pressure. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Young Lions Competition is open to advertising professionals under the age of 28, and the Cannes Lions teams – made up of an art director and a copywriter, or two marketers in the case of the Young Marketers Competition – are pre-selected in their home country.
\nIn addition to supporting the Young Lions Competition, Getty Images has teamed up with The Brand Union, Lambie-Nairn and Clear Channel to offer the CannesAlso competition. CannesAlso is a unique exhibition of creative photography, which this year will be presented at Cannes Lions in the form of a large book. Over the past few months, creatives from agencies all over the world have submitted images for The Big Book to internationally renowned photographer Rankin, who has selected the photos to be exhibited. During the festival, The Big Book will be exhibited on the Parvis of the Palais des Festivals, with participants able to walk around and interact within this large space.
\nPhotography enthusiasts will also be able to present their work to the Getty Images creative team, who will be on hand to examine images and advise aspiring photographers.
