Chinese designer Shiatzy Chen presents her Fall\/Winter 2011 collection at the prestigious Ecole de Beaux Arts, a venue as steeped in history as the designer’s influences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Influenced by her cultural and historical heritage, Shiatzy Chen is inspired by an ancestral accessory that has crossed ethnic groups and eras throughout China, “The Treasure Bag”.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere is sober and mysterious, and the music is enchanting. Shiatzy Chen immerses us in a fairytale-like Chinese story. <\/p>\n

Feel like being a princess for a night out? Or more modern with a mini dress? Each silhouette is more enticing than the next. <\/p>\n

Femininity is the order of the day!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tribal or ethnic elements such as fur and leather are combined with clean cuts and smooth materials.<\/p>\n

Winter essentials: fur and leather are used with delicacy, on lapels, necklines and shoulder pads, as well as on jackets.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The strong point is undoubtedly the combination of materials to energize classic cuts.<\/p>\n

Black dominates: sophistication in sight! However, fuchsia pink and radiant blue give rhythm to the collection. While flesh tones lend a certain softness to the ensemble. <\/p>\n

The knits are fluid, the tops in fine lace and the chiffons vaporous.<\/p>\n

The looks blend oriental and Edwardian elements.<\/p>\n

The “treasure bag” embroidery and Swarovski add a touch of lightness to the skirts’ heavy falls.<\/p>\n
