It’s in the structure of things that we discern their true nature, and through the play of the decorporic voice narrating the show, Dai Fujiwara gives us the creative vision that underpins his proposal for Issey Miyake for Autumn-Winter 2011, that of an aspiring writer, who has come, according to his accent, from across the Atlantic to find inspiration.<\/p>\n
Beginning with the outfits of a young Hemingway exploring Paris, the evolution of the wardrobe follows that of the story itself: inspiration strikes, then a fateful encounter with a beautiful Parisian woman – why does the image of Cl\u00e9mence Po\u00e9sy come to mind? With his heart discombobulated, his imagination on fire and his pen missing, the young author keeps moving towards his happy ending, and towards a more native outfit. And punctuating the story are little playlets that kept us smiling right up to the final graffiti.
