\nEighteenth-century charm and elegance
\nMost of Le Meurice’s rooms have been recently renovated by Charles Jouffre’s studios, in a highly couture style. The harmony of volumes and lines, the elegance of the furnishings and the delicacy of every detail of the d\u00e9cor all reflect the spirit of the 18th century. But it’s as if Ingres had added a softer touch to give each room an extra note of intimacy and well-being.
\nSeveral color harmonies have been applied to wall fabrics, upholstery for armchairs and meridiennes, draperies and bedspreads. The patinas on the furniture, the discreet scroll patterns on the carpets, the Versailles parquet floors, the embroidery on the bedspreads: every element is inspired by the art of doing and living in the 18th century.
\nIn all the bedrooms, friezes, motifs and paintings were created in the traditional manner by journeymen from the prestigious Brussels School of Decorative Painting. The art of beauty is at the heart of the art of living at Le Meurice.
\nAt the same time, the most modern equipment and a few contemporary photographs and objects add a touch of trendy elegance.
\nThe bathrooms are spacious, perfectly equipped and often benefit from natural daylight. All are finished in white or grey marble, sometimes in red and ochre Pyrenean marble as in Versailles, and combine mosaics, chrome, engraved mirrors and, in some cases, a period dressing table. From bath time to bedtime, each room creates a universe of precious, intimate affinities between materials and light, to be discovered throughout your stay. <\/p>\n

\nLe Meurice offers fifteen different types of rooms and suites to suit all tastes and stays, from business stopovers to family vacations or couples’ getaways. Each floor has its own unique style and spirit.
\nThe Louis XVI decor on the second floor is particularly suited to official suites and apartments, with its Versailles parquet flooring, antique paintings, Polonaise beds and imposing fireplaces. Two presidential suites can form a private suite of around 500m2, comprising two bedrooms, two ceremonial lounges and a more intimate one.
\nThe second and third floors are more dedicated to the business clientele, with vast office spaces and state-of-the-art facilities.
\nThe upper floors offer Parisian charm for longer stays. In rooms and suites overlooking the Jardin des Tuileries, light creeps in and brushes against the design of a frieze or the bronze of a mirror.
\nRooms overlooking the inner courtyards, rue de Castiglione and rue du Mont Thabor enjoy a warm, intimate atmosphere, conducive to capturing all the secret charms of Paris. <\/p>\n
