At the time, vintage clothing was becoming increasingly popular and sought-after by women. While the name Motel conjures up images of down-market places, this collection shows us something quite different. A collection as fascinating as it is appealing, somewhere between Alfred Hitchcock and Betty Page, between film noir and seduction. Because that&#8217;s the question Parisians will be asking themselves when Motel arrives in September. She&#8217;s a young, independent, refined woman who loves vintage and references to the golden age of couture. And we&#8217;re all going to fall in love with lace, so delicate to wear. It gives a woman&#8217;s body such a light allure, because lace is very much in evidence in the summer collection. And so are bodysuits. Which one do you want, mademoiselle? The one in simple black to wear with a skirt that&#8217;s a little tight, or the one with spring floral prints to wear with our beautiful high-waisted jeans?
