Her world, punctuated by white, reflects the extreme creativity of her minimalist yet avant-garde pieces. But she is much less well known for her interior design skills.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After a first experience as an interior designer with the decoration of the &#8216;<em>Elle D\u00e9coration<\/em>&#8216; Suite at the Palais de Chaillot, Maison Martin Margiela was offered a project worthy of the prestigious house&#8217;s reputation: to re-design, renew and completely decorate all the reception and comfort areas of the<strong>Maison Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es hotel,<\/strong> the former private residence of the Duchess of Rivoli. On the Duchesse&#8217;s death, the mansion was passed on to several descendants before being purchased on April 17, 1913 by Her Serene Highness Louise de Croye, Princess de Croye Solre. Her heirs then sold the building to the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Anonyme &#8220;Maison des Centraux&#8221;, which turned it into an activity center for former students of the Ecole Centrale de Paris. In addition to being used by the association des Centraliens, the 6,000 m\u00b2 building, renovated in the late 90s, is shared between several companies, including the hotel La Maison Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, currently owned by the luxury hotel chain Exclusive Hotels.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;<em>We wanted to offer a clientele looking for a different kind of experience a redesigned living space, and with the help of Maison Martin Margiela we defined the codes for a new welcome (as well as the hotel&#8217;s 7 suites and 10 rooms &#8211; editor&#8217;s note), luxurious yet relaxed, in which minimalist forms are served by an incredible sense of detail, in the heart of a district that brings together the most prestigious French fashion houses<\/em>&#8220;, explains Bernadette Chevallier, President, Exclusive Hotels for Maison Champs-Ely\u00e9s.<br \/>\nMaison Martin Margiela, for its part, is delighted to create &#8220;<em>a theatrical universe where reality and pretense mix.
