As usual, Impasse de la D\u00e9fense<\/strong> reveals a very special atmosphere. For his Spring Summer 2011 collection, Karim Bonnet reveals a world influenced by construction techniques. <\/p>\n

This theme is reflected in sober cuts, transparent fabrics, and associations of materials and volumes representing the construction lines and skylights of the designer’s workspace.<\/p>\n

The color palette is made up of shimmering hues and wispy whites. Black punctuates. <\/p>\n

The show’s interesting combination of materials was particularly noteworthy, as was the use of textiles. Impressive weavings covering entire dresses, with newspaper clippings interwoven, printed fabrics and screen-printed photos straight out of the world of interior design. Textile techniques multiply and adorn silhouettes. <\/p>\n
