Thomas Dimetto, you worked as a graphic designer for over 10 years. What drew you to fashion?<\/strong>
\nAt the time, I was part of a collective called La Bonne Merveille<\/strong>, where I designed window displays for Galeries Lafayette. By dint of manipulating different materials, especially fabrics, I wanted to make volume, cut. I wanted to do manual work.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose the hats?<\/strong>
\nSimply because I realized that I really had plenty of them at home. I wanted to create my own.<\/p>\n

Your pieces are unisex and are also aimed at children, do you adapt some pieces to this sector?<\/strong>
\nMy hats can indeed be made in small sizes. However, I do not create according to the child. My pieces are quite expensive, between 250 and 500 euros; ethically, I wouldn’t be comfortable with that. I have children of my own and am not in favor of this type of purchase.<\/p>\n

What can you tell us about the Summer 2010 collection?<\/strong>
\nFor this collection, I created the Lindon<\/strong> model, inspired by the film “Barry Lindon”. Based on the tricorn, it is adjustable thanks to a system of snaps. There are 2 versions: one 100% cotton, the other, more upscale, all panama and leather. You can wear it asymmetrically, giving it a more cowboy profile. The main idea of this collection is to protect from the sun.<\/p>\n
