Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 1998, made exclusively from Chardonnay Grands Crus, 66% from the C\u00f4te des Blancs and 34% from the northern Montagne de Reims, is the finest expression of the House’s demand for perfection in this grape variety with its unique qualities. This great vintage also pays tribute to a year recognized for its exceptional quality in the world of champagne. The fruit of over 10 years’ cellar ageing, Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is the perfect invitation to an exceptional tasting experience: a sparkling golden-yellow color with delicate bronze-green highlights, an extremely fine effervescence and a remarkably abundant mousse for this vintage. Against a racy mineral backdrop, the first nose underlines the fine maturity of the 1998 vintage, with notes of fresh honey, white nougat and candied citrus fruit. Evocations of pastry and dried fruit on the second nose confirm the sweetness announced, giving rise to great aromatic complexity. The attack on the palate is full-bodied and particularly silky.
