\"\"<\/a>Islay is an ancient land of mystery and legend. Windswept, the island off the Scottish coast is home to some of the world’s most famous distilleries. Of the 8 single malt distilleries on the island, the most emblematic are undoubtedly the Kildalton distilleries. Located on the south coast of the island, along a rugged shoreline, these jewels are Laphroaig, Lagavulin and of course… the legendary Ardbeg distillery, whose identity is inspired by this authentic land and its Celtic heritage. Ardbeg single malts are recognized by experts as the most peaty single malts on Islay. All Ardbeg expressions, aged in bourbon casks stored right on the land in sea-swept rooms, are non-chill-filtered to achieve a richer texture. All these elements combine to make Ardbeg the “Best Whisky in the World” in the eyes of connoisseurs, and especially international critic Jim Murray – The Whisky Bible. With three consecutive awards (2008 – 2009 – 2010), the distillery is the only one to date to claim this historic achievement. This year, the distillery presents its emblematic Ardbeg TEN expression in an astonishing boxed set: “Ultime TEN”. Only this singular case adorned with chains will be able to contain its incomparable aromatic power. Beneath the Celtic “A” symbolizing the distillery that tattoos this box, a velvet-lined interior perfectly conveys Ardbeg TEN’s balance of strength and delicacy: a gentle harmony of the combined aromas of chocolate, citrus and licorice, which unfailingly responds to the strength of peat.
