CARA DELEVINGNE AWAITS 2023 MET GALA WEARING <\/strong> KARL LAGERFELD COUTURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Monday, May 1, model and actress Cara Delevingne<\/strong> attended The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2023 Met Gala, also known as The Costume Institute Benefit,<\/strong> wearing KARL LAGERFELD couture.<\/p>\n

Created by Hun Kim, Design Director of the Maison KARL LAGERFELD, Cara’s look reimagines Karl Lagerfeld’s white shirt into an outspoken shirt-dress. Crafted from 100% Swiss fine cotton with a natural stretch, the silhouette is topped with pleated bib details and a dramatic train stretching 3 meters (10 feet) from top to bottom. Cara accessorized with thigh-high, boot-effect black leather leggings and black fingerless gloves. <\/p>\n

The look was inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s quintessential white shirt, which he frequently wore in public as part of his signature tuxedo-dressing look, and at home while sketching or relaxing. He was also known to enjoy reinventing white shirts by using the same fabric. <\/p>\n
