The multi-sensory experience offered by The Karl Lagerfeld Macau includes the Mesa restaurant, with gourmet delights signed by award-winning chef Jos\u00e9 Avillez, as well as a spectacular reading lounge with a carefully chosen selection of 4,000 books. The spa and wellness center, with indoor and outdoor pools, offers guests the ultimate relaxation experience. <\/p>\n
Karl Lagerfeld’s design concept was born from a sophisticated reinterpretation of modern Chinoiserie combined with traditional craftsmanship, where bold colors and patterns meet elegant silhouettes. Each of the 271 rooms and suites showcases influences from both classic Chinese design and contemporary Western aesthetics: personalized headboards were inspired by Chinese lucky coins, while porcelain vases were handcrafted in Jingdezhen and circular room dividers were inspired by traditional Chinese moon doors. Reflecting Karl Lagerfeld’s passion for collaboration, specially designed furniture includes exquisite sculptures by Dutch artist Marcel Wanders and French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel, as well as Terzani chandeliers. <\/p>\n
