In 2011, Ch\u00e2teau Cantenac Brown added a new wine to its range: AltO, a dry white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc and S\u00e9millon grapes. AltO is a smooth, mineral, vibrant wine. It is a gastronomic wine, designed for the pleasures of the table. Elegant and refined, AltO pays tribute to the art of music and completes the Cantenac Brown range. <\/p>\n
The S\u00e9millon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested on September 9 and 10. Vinification is by slow pressing under inert gas, with fermentation in barrels. Ageing takes place in 10% new French oak barrels and 90% one-wine barrels. <\/p>\n
AltO is marked by notes of citrus, lime and nectarine. Round and elegant on the palate, marked by freshness and liveliness. It is sustained by a fine tension. <\/p>\n
AltO de Cantenac Brown 2021 is available from wine merchants for 19.60 euros ex-VAT.<\/p>\n
