\"\"<\/a> Do you know Mr. A., this long-legged Shadok who can be seen in the streets of Paris?<\/p>\n

It was born from the imagination and the hands of the graffiti artist Andr\u00e9, also known for his “Love Graffiti”, these names of people in graffiti ordered by their lovers, and realized in pops colors and close to their home so as not to miss them.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Andr\u00e9 marks the walls with his famous Mr. A for years. But this is only one facet of this international night owl and brilliant businessman. Andr\u00e9 is a nightclub manager (Le Baron, Chez Moune, Le Montana) and has created several boutiques including Blackblock at the Palais de Tokyo and Madame Andr\u00e9 in Paris in addition to the Mercerie de Paris, Lisbon and Tokyo.he also draws, he covers his notebook with his works to take us into an imaginary world and walk us through the buildings of urban cities. In order to make us better enjoy it, Andr\u00e9 has dropped his bags at the ultra-branch Colette and is exposed on the walls of the Parisian concept store.<\/p>\n

Despite his many activities, Andr\u00e9 has never stopped drawing but his media have changed. His work is much more personal, more intimate, they are draft sheets or notebooks that he fills continuously without ever showing them to anyone.<\/p>\n

“This series is inspired by the psychedelic love imagery of the 60’s and 70’s, mixed with his memories of the comics he read as a child. In Andr\u00e9’s world, his drawings are a kind of currency, like sweet bills to exchange love. For him, the solution to smother this enormous layer of capitalism, inside or outside the art world, lies in what cannot be bought – love and generosity.<\/em> “as his friend and colleague from Purple Magazine Olivier Zahm says.<\/p>\n

The Drawings d’Andr\u00e9 exhibition will take place from February 1 to 27, 2010 at <\/em>Colette and will be composed of about thirty drawings, limited edition serigraphs, as well as some chic and colorful surprises.<\/p>\n
